ADA’s Compliance Policy
Chabad of Somerset County is committed to providing equal access and opportunities to individuals with disabilities. We believe in promoting a barrier-free environment and ensuring that our services, facilities, and digital content are accessible to all, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws.
Our ADA Coordinator, Malkie Herson, oversees and coordinates compliance efforts, including responding to ADA-related inquiries and concerns, and communicating our policy and providing training to all employees.
Wherever possible, we have taken measures to ensure physical accessibility in our facilities, such as providing ramps, accessible restrooms, and clear signage. We regularly assess our physical spaces for compliance. Requests for additional accommodations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations in a timely manner.
Individuals who believe that we have not met our ADA obligations may file a complaint by contacting the ADA Coordinator. Complaints will be addressed promptly and thoroughly. We prohibit retaliation against individuals who assert their rights under the ADA, request accommodations, or file ADA-related complaints.
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as needed to ensure compliance with evolving accessibility standards and regulations.
