The Momentum is GROWING!
Chabad is always there for you. Now WE NEED YOUR HELP to keep expanding our important work!
Throughout 2018, here is a small peek into what happened at Chabad....
- Just this past week we ate over 800 (!) latkes throughout our 7 Chanukah Celebrations.
- Our Adult Education programs hosted over 100 students throughout the year.
- We rolled out our newest program: Kids in the Kitchen, teaching easy and kid friendly recipes in the Kosher kitchen.
- The talk of the town, the Mega Challah Bake, had a record breaking 400+ Jewish women mixing and kneading Challah.
- Over 70 precious Jewish children learn in our Breitman Hebrew School each week.
- Our award-winning Zimmer Preschool added another class and is filled to capacity.
- Over the High Holiday season over 600 people walked through our doors.
- At Chabad we celebrated 21 Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Mazal Tov!
- Shabbat at Chabad celebrated over 50 happy occasions at our Kiddush Luncheons.
- Purim at Chabad entailed 3 parties in 24 hours with over 300 people and over 350 Mishloach Manot Purim Gift Baskets delivered to locals families.
- The Inaugural L'Chaim Society Men's Club Smokeout included 60 lbs of smoked brisket, 50 lbs of smoked chicken and much more.
- Our Thanksgiving Tzedaka Day Food Drive collected, packed and delivered food boxes to close to 50 families in our area.
Thank G-d, our new building campaign is generating a fantastic response. At the same time, we need your support for our ongoing (and growing) community programming and educational opportunities. We've prepared a great year ahead, let's meet our year end goal and hit the ground running in 2018!
