Our Values
At Chabad, I am safe to BE...
To think my own thoughts and
to express them in my true voice
I am free
To EXPLORE:
To discover the infinite possibilities
Within myself
And within the world around me.
I am aware
Of RELATIONSHIPS:
And my dynamic connection
With people
And my environment.
I am imbued
With a RESPONSIBILITY:
To effect positive change
In myself
And my community.
I approach life
With JOY:
To appreciate both the
Big and small
Filling me with happiness.
I am conscious
Of TIME:
To celebrate
Its unique flavors
And to imbue it with meaning.
I am mindful
Of SPACE:
To recognize its effect on me
Respect its boundaries
And appreciate its character.

Our Curricular Approach
RELEVANT MEANINGFUL LASTING
Our educational approach sees the student as an active learner, a dynamic explorer rather than a passive recipient of knowledge. As such, our curriculum cultivates the student's natural enthusiasm for learning, so that s/he emerges with the values, knowledge and skills necessary for a solid foundation of life-long Jewish learning.
Our curriculum is aligned with developmentally appropriate standards of knowledge and skills within the framework of an elementary-aged child.
Our curriculum (and its inherent values, information and skills) is connected to, and built upon, previously learned material. Concepts introduced are continually reviewed and revisited. This is called a “spiraling curriculum” - where one set of learning experiences creates a foundation for the next.
Our program is designed so that it allows for the different components within the curriculum to be integrated with each other, revisiting the content in various contexts.
By providing an environment where exploration is encouraged, teachers who are supportive and knowledgeable, and a simulating syllabus, the student has the capacity to fill his/her Judaic ‘toolbox’ with strong Jewish values, substantive knowledge, and honed
skills.
